Understand access

Approved integration access

How PlaintiffDesk makes integration capabilities available to a firm without offering unrestricted access to firm or case data.

On this page

Before you start

  • A firm with a separately reviewed integration request.
  • An identified firm owner and defined integration purpose.

Typical workflow

  1. 1

Describe the business workflow the connection should support.

  2. 2

Identify the minimum records and actions needed for that purpose.

  3. 3

Approve the firm scope, responsible people, and review boundaries.

  4. 4

Confirm with the implementation team which capability-specific technical materials are available for the approved connection.

Firm-scoped connections

Each connection belongs to an identified firm and an approved business purpose. Access is limited to the records and actions needed for that workflow.

Purpose-based capability

A connection may receive information, create an approved record, update an approved workflow, or return a result only when that capability is part of the firm’s integration plan.

Customer reference access

When an integration is approved and enabled, the implementation team can confirm whether capability-specific private reference material is available and how approved developers may access it.

Keep in mind

  • Public documentation does not grant self-service or unrestricted API access.
