Lead intake connections

How approved sources can create a structured lead for review inside the firm’s existing intake process.

On this page

Before you start

  • An approved lead source.
  • A firm owner for mapping and exception review.

Typical workflow

  1. 1

Identify the lead source and intended intake path.

  2. 2

Map the available contact, matter, source, and assignment information.

  3. 3

    Test representative and incomplete submissions.

  4. 4

Review created leads and reconcile failures after launch.

Connected lead capture

A website, campaign, referral source, or other approved intake system can submit the contact and matter information needed to begin firm review.

Firm-specific intake fields

The connection can be mapped to the participating firm’s available sources, case types, incident information, assignments, and configured intake fields.

Review inside PlaintiffDesk

Created leads enter a reviewable intake workflow where staff can complete missing details, manage follow-up, connect documents and activity, and decide whether to open a case.

Keep in mind

  • The Lead API can be enabled for an approved firm connection; it is not an anonymous public intake channel.
