The kinds of structured information that an approved source can hand to PlaintiffDesk or receive as part of a defined workflow.
On this page
Before you start
- A defined source system and destination workflow.
Typical workflow
- 1
Identify where the information originates and who owns it.
- 2
Choose the smallest useful set of information for the handoff.
- 3
Map the handoff to the firm’s configured workflow.
- 4
Test representative records and exceptions before launch.
External intake sources
Approved websites, advertising sources, referral systems, and intake tools can hand structured submissions into a firm-defined intake workflow.
Firm-specific record mapping
Incoming information can be aligned with the participating firm’s available matter types, sources, assignments, and configured intake fields.
Approved destination workflow
The implementation plan identifies where accepted information should appear in PlaintiffDesk and who reviews the resulting intake or automated work.
Keep in mind
- The available records and actions depend on what has been approved and enabled for the firm.
